Fenton A Draves, 74, of Midland died early Monday morning, Oct 28, 2002, at his residence. He was born on Dec 29, 1927, in Detroit, son of the late August and Clara (Kaschefsky) Draves. He served in the US Army and married the former Josephine Lince on July 22, 1950, in Midland. Fenton was employed with the Dow Chemical Co., retiring in 1982 after 37 years of service. He was a member of Midland Elks Lodge NO 1610 BPOE, where he was twice honored as Elk of the Year, Midland American Legion Berryhill Post No 165, Steelworkers Union No 12075. Fenton was an avid outdoorsman, avid gardener, photographer, master plumber, pipe fitter, and welder, and a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother and friends to many. Fenton had attended St Brigid Catholic Church. His sisters Norma Phillips, Maida Balagna, Phyllis Clark and brother Howard Draves will predeceased him. Furneral services were held at St Brigid's Catholic church on Oct 31, 2002.
