Elmer Nohre 1909-1984

Elmer Nohre, 75, Bagley, died Saturday, November 10 of a heart attack while deer hunting.
Funeral services were held Tuesday at Calvary Bible Church, Bagley, with the Rev. John Heath officiating. Interment was made in Bagley City Cemetery.
He was born March 4, 1909 at Black Hammer, Minnesota to Syver and Signe Nohre. He moved in 1914 with his parents to Holt, where he was raised, educated and confirmed. He married Polly Johnson in 1937 and they had one son. She preceded him in death.
On September 4, 1947, he married Gladys Anderson in St. Paul. They farmed in the Karlstad area until 1976, when they moved to Bagley.
He is survived by his wife; one son, Sidney, Circle Pines; two brothers, Henry, Bagley and Oscar, Grant's Pass, Oregon; two sisters, Agnes (Mrs. Fred) Seaberg, Long Lost Lake and Hilma Horien Holt; three grandchildren, two great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
