Charles Andrews, II, 90, of Syracuse, died Wednesday at Crouse Hospital. He was a native and life resident of the Syracuse area. Mr. Andrews was a graduate of the Kent School for Boys in CT, Harvard University, class of 1938 and Syracuse University College of Law, class of 1941. During WW II he served in the Army Air Corps Judge Advocate General's Dept. assigned to the Third Air Force. Mr. Andrews was an attorney and partner at the Mackenzie Hughes Law Firm in Syracuse for 41 years retiring in 1990. He was a member of St. Paul's Episcopal Cathedral, The Century Club, Onondaga Golf & Country Club and a past president of the Cazenovia Club.
Mr. Andrews's grandfather was a NY State Supreme Court Judge and former Mayor of Syracuse during the middle 1800's.
Surviving are his wife, Jacqueline E. Andrews; a daughter, Leslie A. Fairall of Altamonte Springs, Florida; a son, Charles (Teresa) Andrews, III of Cazenovia; six grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
Memorial Service will be 10 a.m. Saturday at St. Paul's Episcopal Cathedral, 310 Montgomery St., Syracuse. The family will greet friends in the Brewster Room of the Cathedral following the service.
