morning proved fatal to George F.
Stoney, 7S, of 356 Sixth Street.
He collapsed on the sidewalk and
died almost immediately.
Mr. Stoney was formerly superintendent
of the foundry at the
National Tube Company plant at
Lorain. He had been retired for
the past four years. He had lived
in Elyria since 1904.
He is survived by two sons, Alfred
R. Stoney of Lorain, and
Dr. George F. Stoney, of Erie,
Pennsylvania. Four grandchildren,
Willard Stoney and Mrs.
Leonore Hess, uf Elyria, and
Florence and Mary, of Erie, also
survive.
His death came just six days
less than a year after the death
of his wife, who died on January
28. 1935.
Funeral arrangements had not
been completed early this afternoon.
The body was taken to
Taylor's Funeral Home.
