Survived by his wife, Louise Brumfield, Baton Rouge; a daughter, Susan Ferguson, Houma; a son, Ronald Charles Brumfield, Wimberly, Texas; two sisters, Alice Baudoin, Lafayette, and Chona Beridon, Moreauville; two brothers, Griffin Brumfield, Moreauville, and Burton Brumfield, New Roads; and six granddaughters, Nancy Ferguson, Sarah Ferguson, Jennifer Ogeron, Melissa Brumfield, Holly Brumfield and Jessica Brumfield. Preceded in death by a son, William Thomas Brumfield.
He was a member of Our Lady of Mercy Catholic Church, Knights of Columbus and Association of Retired Teachers.
