WIGGINS - Services will be held at 10 a.m. today at Moore Funeral Home in Wiggins for Aaron Fortenberry, 80, of Wiggins, who died March 4, 2007.
Burial will be in Crossroads Cemetery.
Mr. Fortenberry was a retired poultry farmer and U.S. Army veteran of World War II. He was a member of First Baptist Church of Brooklyn.
He was preceded in death by his daughter, Sharon Slade; mother, Bertie Hill; and father, Donnie P. Fortenberry.
Survivors include his wife, Charis Fortenberry of Wiggins; two daughters, Athelda Lee and Ronette Daughdrill, both of Wiggins; a sister, Sue Cochran of Laurel; a brother, Isom Hill of Ozark, Ala.; six grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
