Passed away Friday November 26, 2010 in Ft. Myers, Florida. Ruth was born September 23, 1921 in Kalamazoo the daughter of Thomas and Jennie (Elzenaar) Halbert. Ruth was employed for 31 years with Bronson Methodist Hospital and was a member of the Bethany Reformed Church.
She was preceded in death by 3 brothers and sisters.
Surviving is her son, Timothy Kennedy; a grandson, John Kennedy; great-grand-daughter, Peyton Kennedy; and several nieces and nephews.
Friends may meet the family Wednesday evening from 6-8pm at the Langeland Family Funeral Homes, Memorial Chapel, 622 S. Burdick St. A graveside service will be held at 11:00 o'clock Thursday in the chapel at Mt. Ever-Rest Cemetery. Memorials may be directed to the charity of your choice. www.langelands.com"
Our precious Aunt Ruth went home to be with Jesus at 89 years, 2 months, 3 days. She was greatly loved and will be missed by all.
