WILLIAM; CRISWELL DIES
William Criswell, 74, well
known Monticello resident, died
at 11:30 o'clock Thursday night
at the home of his son, Walter,
five miles north of Monticello near
Sitka. He had been taken to his
son's home only Monday.
He was born March 15, 1865,
In Liberty township, the son of
James and Lydia Kiler Criswell,
natives of Pennsylvania. His wife,
Amanda Luce, died ten years ago.
Survivors are three sons, Walter
of near Sitka, Thomas, of Michigan
City, Lonnie of near Monticello;
ten grandchildren, three
great-grandchildren, and a sister,
Mrs. Lyda Welte, of near Sitka.
The body is at the home of the
son, Walter, until 11:30 a. m.
Sunday when it will be returned
to Prevo and Son funeral home
here for final rites at 1:30 p. m.
Sunday with Rev. Alvln Hall in
charge, assisted by Rev. Virdun
Graham ofBurnettsville. Burial
will be In River View cemetery.
