"Mrs. Edith Storer, a pioneer Elyria resident, died at the home of her
granddaughter, Mrs. Charles Austin in Ashtabula, Ohio. Mrs. Storer was born in
Carlisle July 8, 1859, and was the widow of Thomas Storer. She is survived by
two sons, Herbert Storer of Elyria and George Storer of Dayton, Ohio, and
daughter, Mrs. Daisy Somerschield of Cleveland; also nine grandchildren, and six
great grandchildren. A brother, Jeff Squires, of Elyria, and half brother, Louis
Boughton, both of Elyria, also survive.
The body will remain at the Funeral Parlors in Ashtabula until Monday, when it
will be brought to the Elyria Church of Christ of which Mrs. Storer has been a
member for many years. Funeral services will be conducted at 2:30 o'clock.
