Death of Wilfred Lowentrout.
Word has been received by friends in this city of the death of Wilfred Lowentrout at Spokane, Wash. The young man was but seventeen years of age. The news of his death is a more shocking surprise because only last week a letter was received from the boy himself that all were well at his home. He was the son of Mr. and Mrs. Louis Lowentrout, who moved from Bloomington some two or three years ago. They formerly resided on West Washington Street. Besides his parents, the young man leaves one sister, Frieda, at home. Mrs. Lowentrout, the boy's mother, has a brother residing in Clinton, Jacob Ziegler, and a sister, Mrs. F. C. Bohrer, of Bloomington.
