Hulda Brinson Thompson was the daughter of Frances M. "Fannie" Dixon and Pleasant F. "Plez" Thompson. She was the granddaughter of Hilliard Dixon, son of Matthew Dixon. Huldah was the sister of Thomas Franklin Thompson, Robert Henderson Thompson, Sallie Thompson-Hinkle-Wiggins, Leota Tennessee "Tennie" Thompson-Jacobs, and Rufus A. Thompson. She married Fulton Medley about 1889. Born to them; Phillip, 1890, and John M., 1895. Fult died in 1905. Huldah remarried to R. P. Dixon, and lived in South Fork for about 13 years. Some of her family moved to Batesville, Ar. Her son Phillip and wife Dolly, gave her seven or more grandchildren. John Medley and wife Jane also had children. She passed away from cerebral apoplexy, and is buried in Moody Cem., under the direction of Higginbotham Funeral Home. She was 74. May she rest in peace.
