Milburn Henry Eldridge Sr. 79, of Columbus, OH passed away Wednesday, Decemeber 23, 2009 in Columbus, OH. Mr. Eldridge was a truck driver for over 40 years and was a veteran of the US Army having served in Korean War. He was born to the late Lola and James Floyd Eldridge January 7, 1930 in Harlan County, KY.
In addition to his parents Mr. Eldridge was preceded in death by a son; Milburn Henry Eldridge Jr.
Survivors include his wife, Patty Eldridge; one son, James Eldridge; two grandchildren, Tracy Tompkins and Amanda Leahy; one great-grandchild, Samantha Tompkins, all of OH. Also surviving are ten siblings, Hazel Scott, Ruby Iten, Mary Sanson, Gladys McSorley, Sue Jones, Lillie Agler, Wilma Jean Eldridge, Mabel Shuler, Marie Foley, Milford Eldridge, and a host of other family and friends.
Visitation was held Monday in the chapel of the Cotner Funeral Home of Reynoldsburg, OH, with the funeral services following at 12:00. Burial will be in the Glen Rest Cemetery.
