Of FL, formerly of Newton on Saturday, November 27, 2010.

A native of Egypt, she attended the National Conservatory in Poland and toured internationally as a Concert Pianist. She studied in Cairo under renowned Pianist Ignace Tiegerman, student of the famous Theodor Leschetitzky.

Nini had a diploma from Warsaw International Conservatory and was a member of the Music Teachers National Association, the MA Music Teachers Association and the Sarasota Music Teachers Association. She performed with Maestro Joseph Huttel at Boston's Gardner Museum and New England Conservatory's Jordan Hall. For nearly 40 years she was a well respected and dedicated Piano Teacher at the All Newton Music School in West Newton where she influenced thousands of students. She continued to spread her love of music in Sarasota, FL where she resided until her passing.

Nini is predeceased by her husband Emmanuel Perlo, and survived by her daughter Renee Hamad, her son and daughter-in-law Andre and Lisa Perlo, three grandchildren, Dr. Karen Hamad, Dr. Michael Hamad, and Mr. Benjamin Perlo. Five great-grandchildren, Lauren & Sage Yenari, Samuel & Jacqueline Hamad and Jacob Perlo. She was a faithful member of Temple Emmanuel in Sarasota, FL.

I am so thankful to have known you for the many years you taught at ANMS, we certainly shared some wonderful times together. You will be missed Nini, but are together again with Manny.
