The funeral for Daniel Frederick Ackerman, 23, Dickinson, was held on Tuesday November 2, 1982, 1:30 p.m. in the United Church of Christ at Wishek. He was born April 27, 1959, at Bismarck and grew up on a farm in Logan County northwest of Wishek. He died at the Bismarck Hospital on Saturday, October 30, 1982.
He attended local schools and graduated from Wishek High School in 1977. He also attended the Wahpeton State School of Science. In 1979 he began working for Bovaird Supply and Co., first at Williston and later at Dickinson.
He is survived by his parents, Albert W. and Luella Ackerman, Wishek; two sisters and two brothers, Alice and Ruby, both Bismarck; Paul, Wishek, and Waldo, Wahpeton.
Pallbearers were Jeff Ackerman, Royce Fischer, DelRoy Ketterling, Keith Sayler, David Ulmer and Randy Ulmer.
Nickisch Funeral Home of Wishek was in charge of arrangements.
