CALVERT CITY, Ky.--Services for Lorene Asher Stallcup, 81, of Calvert City will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday at Lindsey Funeral Home in Paducah. The Rev. Ken Henderson will officiate. Burial will be in Maplelawn Cemetery.
Mrs. Stallcup died at 8:45 p.m. Sunday at Western Baptist Hospital.
She was a member of Bethel Tabernacle Church.
Surviving are one son, Tony Stallcup of Possum Trot; one daughter, Beverly Sholar of West Paducah; four brothers, Hugh Pugh of Evansville, Ind., J.V. Sample of East Dubuque, Ill., Rome Sample of Sharpe and W.T. Stice of Draffenville; two sisters, Margie Harrington of Sharpe and Claudine Robinson of Kansas City, Mo.; four grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, Claude Asher; her second husband, Bose Stallcup; and six brothers. Her parents were Joe and Ollie Pearl Rye Stice.
Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
