Kenneth Hubbard, Sr., age 94, of Marshall, passed away Wednesday, Nov. 24 (2010) at Highland Court Resident Care Facility.
Kenneth was a veteran of the United States Army. He belonged to the First Baptist Church of Marshall. He spent his years as a cattleman and a businessman. He was a member of the Marshall Rotary Club.
He was born Sept. 7, 1916, at Western Grove, to Ed and Cora Melissa (Dozier) Hubbard. Kenneth had four brothers and two sisters.
He is survived by a brother, Hughlin Hubbard of California and four children, Kathryn and husband Charles Treat of Springdale, Janet and husband Kenneth Rainbolt of Marshall, Edna and husband Jack Treat of Marshall and Dr. Kenneth, Jr. and wife Sharon Hubbard of Harrison.
He had seven grandchildren, Kathy Anderson and Ronnie Treat of Springdale, Dr. Jeff Rainbolt and Janita King of Marshall, Greg Treat of Conway, Dr. Jennifer Bartlett and Dr. Robert Hubbard of Harrison and 12 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 27, at Roller-Coffman Funeral Home, Marshall. Funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 28, at Roller-Coffman Chapel in Marshall with James L. Horton officiating. Interment will follow at East Lawn Cemetery, Marshall. Pallbearers will be Dustin Anderson, Timothy Anderson, Terry Anderson, Dr. Jeff Rainbolt, Greg Treat and Dr. Robert Hubbard.
