Sullivan, 71, of the Colonial Apartments, Turnpike Street, Beaver, died in his home, Monday evening, October 27, 1958, following an extended illness. Born September 9, 1887, in Crossingville, Crawford County,, Pa., he came to Beaver County in 1907, residing in Beaver 30 years. Prior to his retirement in 1953, as a crew dispatcher for the Pennsylvania Railroad Company, he had 43 years of service with that company. Mr. Sullivan was a member of SS. Peter and Paul R. C. Church, Beaver; a past president of the Holy Name Society, a past president of St. Vincent DePaul Society, a member of the church committee Father James Reid Council Knights of Columbus, of Rochester; the Knights of St. George; the Rochester B.P.O.E., Lodge no. 283; the Pennsylvania Railroad Retired Men's Club, of Conway, Pa. and St. Petersburg, Fla.; and the Railway Clerks' Union. Mr. Sullivan was a former Troop Committeeman of the Boy Scouts of America. Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Lillian O. Sullivan; two brothers, Raymond Sullivan, St. Petersburg, Fla. and Ralph Sullivan, Blue Island, Ill.; and three sisters: Mrs. Lena Blue, Freedom; Mrs. Catherine Baumer, Lakewood, O.; and Mrs. Albert Haag, of Beaver. Friends will be received after 7:30 o'clock this evening in the J.T. Anderson & Son Funeral Home, 205 College Ave., Beaver. Requiem High Mass will be celebrated by the Rev. Father Louis Minewiser on Thursday, Oct. 30, at 10 a.m. in SS Peter and Paul's R.C. Church, Beaver. Interment in St. Mary's R.C. Cemetery, Beaver Falls.
