Mrs. N.W. Dowell, wife of a student at the A.S.O., and daughter of Mr. and Mrs. George W. Morrow, died at the family home on South Baltimore street Saturday, aged 31 years. She leaves her husband, parents, brother and invalid grandmother, together with a large number of other relatives and friends to mourn her death. Mrs. Dowell, whose maiden name was Lena Virginia Marrow [sic], was graduated from the Kirksville High school and the Kirksville Normal school, and was married August 6, 1910, to Mr. Dowell. The funeral was held Monday afternoon at the Davis & Wilson chapel. The funeral services were conducted by the Rev. Mr. Kildow, of Queen City. Burial in Llewellyn cemetery.
