REV. W. M. MORGAN IS TAKEN BY DEATH
The Rev. William Riley Morgan, 78, retired minister of the Congregational Methodist Church died yesterday afternoon at his residence on Route One, Millwood.

The Rev. Mr. Morgan was a minister of the Congregational Methodist Church for 40 years.

At the time of his death he was a member of the Hargraves Chapel. He was a native of Ware county.

Survivors include his wife, the former Miss Rhoda Taft; one son, Miller Morgan, Route One, Millwood; three daughters, Mrs. Ada Mae Davis, and Mrs. Lester McDaniel, both of Millwood, and Mrs. Willie Bullard, Manor; 13 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

Funeral arrangements are incomplete and will be announced later by Mincy Funeral Home.

Funeral services for the Rev. William Riley Morgan were held yesterday morning at 11 o'clock at Hargraves Chapel near Millwood, with the Rev, C. V. Bailey, the Rev. R. W. Barnard and Rev. A. J. Cason officiating.

Burial was in the church cemetery.

The Rev. Mr. Morgan died Monday at his residence on Route One, Millwood. He was a retired minister of the Congregational Methodist Church. He was a native of Ware County and a member of the Hargraves Chapel.

Survivors include his wife, the former Miss Rhoda Taft; one son, Miller Morgan, Route One, Millwood; three daughters, Mrs. Ada Mae Davis and Mrs. Lester McDaniel, both of Millwood and Mrs. Willie Bullard, Manor; two brothers, Mike Ryans, Waycross, and John Ryans, Manor; 13 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers were Emmett Thomas, J. M. Ryan, Lorain Arnold, Jesse Walden, Willard Bennett and J. A. Arnold.
Mincy Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
