Williamson (went by William) Augustus Rominger was the second of five known children of Henry E. Rominger (1813-1910) and Anna Katharine Miller (1819-1899),who married 01 Jun 1839 at Bartholomew County, Indiana.
William served with the Union Army during the Civil War. William married Jemima (went by Mime or Minnie) Hornaday (1842-1909) on 19 Apr 1864 at Bartholomew County, Indiana. William and Mime were the parents of four known children, namely:
1. Effie Rominger Heilman (1866-1947)
2. Bertha Rominger Bruner (1873-1958)
3. Anna Rominger (1876-1877)
4. Walter Lyle Rominger (1878-1958)
