Funeral service for Mrs. Thelma Swader Jarrell, 79, of Lafayette, will be Tuesday, December 1, 2009 at 2 p.m. at the chapel of Radney Funeral Home. Rev James Caulifield will officiate. Burial will follow in the Alexander City Cemetery.
Mrs. Jarrell passed away on Sunday, November 30, 2009 at Francisan Woods Assisted Living in Columbus, GA. She was born on April 23, 1930 in Stroud, Alabama to James M. Swader and Ollie Gaunt Swader.
She is survived by her husband of 60 years, Raymond Jarrell, Jr; sisters, Ruby Swader and Myrtle Cole; brother, Charlie Swader (Bobbie).
She was preceded in death by her parents; son, Kenneth Lewis Jarrell; sister, Gladys Swader and brothers; Henry Swader, Luther Swader, Tommy Swader, James Swader and Bluford Swader.
