Lanett - Jack E. Sorrell, 81, of Lanett died Monday, July 29, 2002, at Beverly Health Care in Lanett.
Funeral services are scheduled for Thursday, Aug. 1, at 3 p.m. at Community Chapel Church of God in Lanett with Pastor Jim Luttrell and the Revs. Roy Bain and Gary Cotney officiating. Burial will follow in Hillcrest Cemetery in Lanett.
Two brothers, O.D. Sorrell of Lanett and Engman Sorrell of White Plains, and a number of nieces and nephews lowers will be accepted or memorials may be made to Community Chapel Church of God in Lanett.
The family will receive friends Wednesday, July 31, from 7 until 9 p.m. at McCarthy Funeral Home in West Point.
