J.B. TWOHIG DIES AT 57 IN HOSPITAL

James B. Twohig, 57, of Armstrong, died at 11:30 a.m. Friday at St. Nicholas Hospital, Sheboygan.

Born April 22, 1912, in Armstrong, the son of Charles J. and Emma Tobin Twohig, he married the former Mary Scannell on June 27, 1942, at Our Lady of Angels Catholic Church in Armstrong.

A graduate of Fond du lac Senior High School, he farmed in the Town of Osceola.

He was employed by Kiekhaefer Mercury for the last 15 years. He was a member of Our Lady of Angels Church in Armstrong and its Holy Name Society.

Survivors include his widow; four sons, James of Armstrong and John, Joseph and Daniel, all at home; two daughters, Catherine and Colleen, both at home, two brothers, Neal and Charles F., both of Armstrong; three sisters, Mrs. Stephen King of Eden, Mrs. Nicholas Abler and Mrs. George Oldfield, both of Fond du Lac; plus one grandchild.

Four sons and a daughter preceded him in death.

Funeral services will be held at 9:30 a.m. Monday at Twohig Funeral Home in Campbellsport and at 10 a.m. from Our Lady of Angels Church in Armstrong with the Rev. Joseph Fischer officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.

Friends may call at the funeral home after 2 p.m. Sunday.

Funeral services for James B. Twohig, who died Friday were held at 9:30 a.m. Monday at Twohig Funeral Home and 10 a.m. at Our Lady of Angels, Armstrong.

The Rev. Joseph JH. Fischer officiated and the Rev. Clarence Nickelai was seated in the sanctu8ary. The Holy Name Society attended in a body. Burial was in the church cemetery.

Pallbearers were John Burns, Francis Burns, Stephen O’Connor, John W. Shea, Leo Twohig and Robert Twohig.
