Felice Schragenheim
Birth: Mar. 9, 1922, Germany
Death: Dec. 31, 1944, Germany

Literary Figure. She probably died at the concentration camp of Bergen Belsen. The exact circumstances of her death are unknown, but what is known is that she was sent to the camp at Gross Rosen in Poland, and that when that camp was closed the women were sent to Bergen Belsen. She was never heard from again. However her letters and poetry were preserved by Lilly Wust, a fellow Berliner who was married to a German soldier and the mother of four children when she met and fell in love with the charismatic Felice. Their love story has finally been brought to light thanks to author Erica Fischer's "Aimee And Jaguar" and director Max Farberbock's filmed rendition of the book. (bio by: Kashesan)
