This is my beloved sister, who was a breast cancer survivor for 4 years then it came back in her lungs and brain. It hurts to lose my best friend, but God must have had a good reason for taking her away. She was a true Christian with many good friends, good neighbors, and good family members. Patsy Maureen "Pat" Bishop Holden, daughter of Walter R Bishop and Margaret Ella Jones Bishop was born on Nov 18, 1947 in Magee, Simpson, Mississippi, USA. Graduated from Prentiss High School in 1965. She attended Prentiss Baptist church and received Christ as her Savior on December 16, 1963. She currently was a member of Shiloh Baptist Church in Sontag, MS. She was married on Nov 15, 1967 to Albert William "Duts" Holden Jr, the son of Albert William Holden Sr and Dorothy Rita Giblin.
She was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers; Danny Tilman Bishop and Richard Tillman Bishop.
She is survived by her husband and their four sons:

Stacey Danielle Holden, Carly Alana Holden, Alexander Lee Holden, and step children Brittany and Austin
Stephen "Cory" Holden Sr of Jayess, MS and spouse Anita Kay Lambert Holden and their children: Stephen Cory Holden Jr, Jacob Beron Holden, and Ashley Kay Holden
Shane Jeffrey Holden of Brookhaven, MS.
Brian Patrick Holden of Jayess, MS.
She is also survived by one brother and four sisters:

Linda Annette Bishop Hester of Prentiss, MS and husband Kenneth Lee Hester Sr
Her favorite things included reading, sunflowers, owls, unicorns, Elvis Presley music, sports, and the New Orleans Saints. She loved being around people especially children. She was an Avon representative for 11 years, giving up her work when she became sick. She previously owned a game room in Monticello for two years, and prior to that she managed the Lawrence County High School Cafeteria for five years.
