Vincent Wuest: "Vincent Wuest, 77, 415 West Division street, died Saturday at 5 p.m. at St. Agnes hospital after a lengthy illness. Born in the Town of Forest, Feb. 20, 1873, he went to Medford as a young man. On Sept. 24, 1903, Mr. Wuest married Julia Kraemer, who died Aug. 5, 1909. Several years later Mr. Wuest married Amelia Abler of Mt. Calvary who preceded him in death. He was married to Mrs. Caroline Bauer of this city where the couple has resided since 1930. Surviving are Mrs. Wuest; three children, Mrs. Frank Seidel, Dorchester, and Roman and Norman Wuest, city; four stepchildren, Garvin Bauer, Colgate; Mrs. Paul Kumber, city; Merle Bauer, Tigerton, Mrs. James Halbeisen, Lisbon, N.D.; 19 grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; three brothers, Peter Wuest, North Fond du Lac, John Wuest, Dotyville; Joseph Wuest, city and two sisters, Mrs. Mary Deckelman, city and Miss Elizabeth Wuest, Oshkosh. Two sisters and one brother preceded Mr. Wuest in death. The body is in state at the Geo. M. Dugan funeral home where services will be held Tuesday at 8:45 a.m. and at St. Joseph's church at 9:15 a.m. Burial will be in Evergreen cemetery, Medford." taken from the "Fond du Lac Commonwealth Reporter", Monday, April 10, 1950.

Vincent Wuest: "Funeral services for Vincent Wuest, who died Saturday, were held today at 8:45 a.m. at the Geo. M. Lugan funeral home and at 9:15 a.m. St. Joseph's church, Msgr. M.F. McEvoy of Milwaukee officiating. Pallbearers were Robert Riegert, Arthur, Henry and Joseph Wuest, Louis Loehr and Nyle Seidel. Burial was at Evergreen cemetery, Medford. Among those attending the services were Mr. and Mrs. Frank Seidel, Dorchester; Mr. and Mrs. Garvin Bauer of Colgate and Merle Bauer, Tigerton; Gordon Seidel and Mrs. Alvina Heidel, Milwaukee; Miss Mabel Pickart and Robert Pickart, Richfield; Mr. and Mrs. William Herman, Mrs. Kate Wuest, Ray and Lucille Wuest, Oshkosh; Mr. and Mrs. Fred Zimmerman, Robert Kuhnert and Herbert Kuhnert, Wausau." taken from the "Fond du Lac Commonwealth Reporter", Tuesday, April 11, 1950, p. 18.
