He is survived by a host of nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by 4 sisters; Verlie Cooper, Mary Copeland, Sarrah Finley, and Nancy Jane Dixon, and 3 brothers; William Luther, Berry, and Elbert Harris. Also preceded in death by his grandparents; James Caroll and Susan Elizabeth (Synder) Harris and Robert "Black Bob" and Winnie (Stout) Walker.
