Jeffie Woods married H.C. King in 1890 at San Marcos, Texas. The couple moved to Throckmorton county immediately after their marriage and have lived in the same house since then. He preceded her in death.
Services for Mrs. Jeffie King, 92, were held at the Presbyterian Church officiated by Rev. Dan Barfield of Rule.
Survived by her husband; two sons - Frank King, Henry King; three daughters - Nell King, Mrs. Willie Coleman, Mrs. J.D. Christy; one brother - Dr. George S. Woods; three sisters - Mrs. Emma Thorp, Mrs. Nora Dobbin, Mrs. Carrie Stone; seven grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren.
