Mr. Stoner had undergone the amputation of one of his legs a year ago and the other was amputated three weeks ago. He had been ill for two years.
A native of Ashland county, he was born May 26, 1860, and lived in North Baltimore for several years before moving to Toledo 15 years ago. He made his home with a son, Ralph Stoner, in Toledo.
He is survived by the following children: Ralph, Mrs. Minnie Wilson, Floyd and Frs. Pearl Leinhart, all of Toledo, and Fred Stoner of North Baltimore. One sister, Mrs. Mary Stull, of Crestline, also survives.
Funeral services will be held at 2 o’clock Wednesday afternoon from the Rippeth funeral home with Rev. Long officiating. Burial will be in Maplewood cemetery.
