Born in Duffy, OH to Isaac and Mary Ann Ober Kearns. Graduated from Magolia High School, New Martinsville, WV in 1897. Married Basil T. Hill Sept. 18, 1901 in Wetzel County, WV. Three children were born to them, Mary Genevieve Hill/Becker, 1902-1992, Basil Everett Hill 1904-1937 and Margaret L. Hill 1906-1911. Elizabeth died in New Martinsville, WV after the birth of her last child.
