WINDBER, April 6 -- Daniel Allison, aged 73 years, was found dead shortly before 5 o'clock this morning at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Anna Shaffer, residing at Old Ashtola, with whom he lived. Death was due to heart failure.

He got up about 4 o'clock this morning and went downstairs, members of the Shaffer family hearing him astir in the kitchen. Some time later they heard a noise downstairs and found the aged man lying on the floor, life being extinct.

Mr. Allison's wife died about 15 years ago.

He is survived by two children, Mrs. Shaffer, mentioned above, and W. F. Allison, of Windber.

Funeral services will be held at 10 o'clock Wednesday morning at the Ogletown Church of the Brethren. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Undertaker G. C. Meek will have charge of the funeral.
