Frances Margaret Alston Nov. 26, 1946-Nov. 17, 2009 Resident of San Jose, Frances Margaret Alston passed away at the age of 62. She is survived by her 5 sisters and brother, 6 nieces and nephew, and 2 grand nieces. She was a loving sister, aunt and friend. She loved the arts and instilled that appreciation in her nieces. She enjoyed literature and computers and spent the first part of her career as a librarian and the latter part in IT. In her free time she tracked the family genealogy, quilted, and played house with her grand nieces. A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Friday, November 27, 2009 at 10:00 A.M. at St. Mary's Cemetery Mausoleum Chapel, 4529 Howe St., Oakland, CA 94611 In lieu of flowers, please make donations to the American Heart Association or American Diabetes Association .
