Services and interment for Robert L. Smick 72, will be held privately at Oak Hill Cemetery in Geneva.

Born May 25, 1927, in Bardolph, Ill., to Lewis and Ruth (nee Mason) Smick, he passed away Saturday, Aug. 14, 1999, at Community Health Care Center in Naperville.

Mr. Smick was a sales manager for 40 years with Philips Electronics. He was a 1950 graduate of Monmouth College and a Navy veteran of World War II.

Surviving is his wife of 48 years, Norma Smick; sons, James Smick of Schaumburg and Steve Smick of Geneva; daughters, Peggy (David) Murphy of Wisconsin and Paula (Daniel) Home of Maple Park; grandchildren, Audrey Green, Tim Korpolewski, and Jennifer and Kelsey Murphy; sister, Lois (Jack) Anderson of Florida; and the families of his niece and nephew, the Andersons and Donaldsons.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Memorials in Robert's name may be made to the Parkinson's Foundation, 833 W. Washington Blvd., Chicago, IL 60607.
