Mary Crumpacker Garber, 79, of Roanoke, died Wednesday. She was a member of the Cloverdale Church of the Brethren and was an author of three books and numerous articles. Survivors include her husband, Orval S Garber; tow sons and daughters in law, Paul and Anne Garber, Troutville; John and Sally Garber, Roanoke, two daughters and sons in law, Mary Catherine and Fred Fifer, Wyoming, Del, Sarah and L Foltz, Port Republic; nine grandchildren, two brothers; three sisters. Interment will be in Daleville Cemetery.
