recent surgery. He had been in
ill health two years.

Home, Sharpsville, with Rev.
Fredrick Mossburg officiating.
Interment will be in Sharpsville
Cemetery. Friends may call at
the funeral home after noon Sunday.
The Tipton native, one of seven
children of J. Marble and
Annabelle (Reed) Richards, was
born December 7, 1901. He married
Geneva Berge, who survives,
December 29, 1920. Before retirement,
he had been an accountant
33 years for Shell Oil of
Kokomo. He was a member of
Sharpsville United Methodist
Church and Tipton Elks.
Surviving with the widow are
two daughters, Mrs. Robert
(Rose) Miller and Mrs. Max (Anita)
Beck, both of Kokomo.
Also surviving is a brother,
W. Richards, Muncie, three
sisters; Mrs. Robert Mettlen,
Anderson; and Mrs. Dena Hensley
and Mrs. Ruth Sparks, both
of Tipton and sex grandchildren.
