The funeral services will be conducted Monday, Nov. 15, at 11 a.m., at Mathews Funeral Home. Dr. Matthew Nance will officiate. Interment will follow at Floral Memory Gardens Cemetery.
A native of Brooks County, Ga., she had resided in Albany, Ga., since 1959, moving from Dothan, Ala. She worked as a receptionist at WALB for 20 years and was a member of Byne Memorial Baptist Church, where she was a member of the Seekers Sunday school class.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Riley Benjamin "R.B." Maxwell.
Survivors include her son, Kirby Ben Maxwell of Macon, Ga.; and two granddaughters, Rachel Johnson and Jennifer Maxwell.
