One of at least four children born to Matthew Jr and Sarah (Dorsey) Howard of North Severn, Anne Arundel Co MD, Sarah married:

1) Capt John Worthington in 1688 in Anne Arundel Co MD; he died 9 Apr 1701. They had six children, five sons and one daughter. The youngest child, Charles II, was born six months after John's death.
2) Capt John Brice Sr on 16 Dec 1701 at St Margarets Parish Church in Anne Arundel Co MD. They had three children, one son and two daughters.

Sarah outlived her second husband by thirteen years, writing her last Will and Testament the year before her death:

"Maryland Calendar of Wills" Vol 6, pg 42:
Brice, Sarah, widow, Anne Arundel Co MD
13th April, 1725; 30th Dec., 1726.

"To dau. Anne Denton and heirs, 130 acres "Howard's Inheritance," Severn R., bou. from son Wm. Worthington, son-in-law Nicholas Ridgley and dau. Sarah his wife; [$]50 in full of her pt. of estate. Neither she nor son-in-law Vachell Denton to be charged for any sallery for what was paid them on acct. of the sd. Anne's father's estate.

"To dau. Rachell, [$]130 and personalty.

"To son Charles Worthington, [$]300 and personalty.

"To granddaus. Sarah, Rebecca, Rachel, Ruth and Anne Ridgley, sons John, Thomas and William Worthington and wives of sd. sons, sons-in-law Nicho. Ridgley and Vachell Denton, cousins James Butcher and John Brice, personalty.

"To son John Brice and heirs, residue of real estate; and personalty.

"To grandchild., viz. son John Worthington's child, son Thos. Worthington's child and dau. Sarah Ridgley's child.,
residue of personal estate.

"Son John B. and dau. Rachel B. to be paid their portion of their father's estate according to bal. remaining in the commissary's office.

"Exs.: Sons Thomas W. and John B.

"Test: Cha. Hammond, Robert Jubb, Judith Danenlen.

"Codicil: 13th March, 1725.
"To son William Worthington and son-in-law Vachell Denton, [$]30 each.

"To 2 grandchild. born to sons John W. and Wm. W. since making of above will an equal share in personal estate.

"Test: Robert Jubb, Elizabeth Fleet, Judith Davelen. 19, 264."
