CHATHAM--Kitty Lee Amos, 65, formerly of Chatham, died Aug. 18, 2001, at The Haven in Sontag.
She was born Aug. 14, 1936, in Callands to the late Richard James Amos Sr. and the late Delphia Haskins Amos.
She was graduated from Callands High School and Danville Memorial Hospital School of Nursing. Before becoming ill, she worked as a registered nurse for Wolfe Medical Group in Rocky Mount. She was a Baptist.
Surviving are one sister, Brenda Amos Reynolds of Chatham; one brother, Richard J. Amos of Mechanicsville; and several nephews.
A graveside service will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Roselawn Burial Park.
The Family will receive friends from 7 p.m. top 8:30 p.m. Monday at McKee-Stone Funeral Services.
