Hilda Ruth Carshall of LeFlore, OK died November 10, 2010 at her home at the age of 74. Hilda was born December 16, 1935 in Le Flore County to Raymond and Frances (Sam) Mackey. She is survived by three daughters, Barbara Box and husband Jackie of LeFlore, OK, Margaret Legg and husband Bob of Oklahoma City, OK and Linda Loyd and husband Roy of LeFlore, OK; two sons, Mark Carshall and wife Sherri of Wister, OK and Stanley Carshall of Red Oak, OK; sixteen grandchildren; twenty two great grandchildren; one brother; three sisters. Hilda was preceded in death by her parents; husband Lee Carshall; three sons; Lee Carshall Jr, Kenneth Carshall, Victor Carshall, two brothers; Arthur Mackey, Talton Mackey and one sister Yvonne Sue Adams. She was a long time member of Thessalonian Baptist Church. She served as WMU president, Sunday School Children's' teacher, and church clerk for 21 years. Funeral service will be 10:00 a.m., Saturday, November 13, 2010 at the Thessalonian Baptist Church Salonia, OK with Reverend Don Russell officiating. Interment will follow at Thessalonian Baptist Cemetery, Salonia, OK. Pallbearers will be her grandsons; Richard Box, Joseph Carshall, Jason Carshall, Roy Dale Loyd, Jr., Stanley Raymond, Emerson Legg. Arrangements are entrusted to Jones-Harkins Funeral Home, Wilburton, OK.
