Died at 8 o'clock a.m. Thursday, May 12 at the Springfield hospital, G. M. Saunders, age 86 years, 7 months, and 6 days. Mr. Saunders was born in Kentucky and he had resided in Sangamon county a number of years.
The remains were taken to the family residence, five miles north of the city. The funeral will be held at 2 o'clock this afternoon at the residence and the interment will be made in Oak Ridge cemetery.
