The funeral service for Sylvia L. Busse, 85, will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, at St. Paul Lutheran Church, 100 S. School St., and Mount Prospect. Interment will be in St. Paul Lutheran Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Sunday, at Friedrichs Funeral Home, 320 W. Central Road (at Northwest Highway), Mount Prospect, and from10 a.m. until the time of service, Monday, at the church. Born Feb. 7, 1920, in Mount Prospect, she died Friday, Dec. 2, 2005.
Sylvia had been an active member of St. Paul Lutheran Church and enjoyed working with flowers in the family business. In recent years she enjoyed the company of her caregiver and great-nephew, Jeremy (Sarah) Seils.
She was the sister of Harold (Carol) Busse Arnold (Alice) Busse and the late Herbert (Dorothy) Busse; aunt of David (Jackie) Busse, Paul (Martie) Busse, Dennis (Madelyn) Busse, Nancy Fenneman, Linda (Paul) Seils, Jerry (Olga) Busse, Mark Busse, Tim Busse and Mary Triplett; and great-aunt and great-great-aunt to many.
