Mr Fidler spent his boyhood in Carroll County, MO; as a young man went to CA and obtained employment with the Southern Pacific Railroad. In 1931 he moved to NV and had lived in Las Vegas, Winnemucca and Belle Helen, NV before settling in Tonopah in 1936 where he was employed as a carpenter with the state highway department since 1944. He was a member of the Tonopah Elks Lodge and the carpenters union.
Survived by his widow, Marie; son George of Wendover; daughter Louise Woodworth; granddaughter Patty of Tonopah; father A.F. Fidler of Norborne, MO; brother Allen of Harrisonville, MO and sister Mrs. Carl Parrish of Norborne.
