Poulson Funeral Is Held Friday
Orum Farmer, 53, Buried Following Rites At Blair Funeral Home
Funeral services were held at the Bendorf Funeral Home at 2 p.m. Friday for Soren Poulson, 53-year-old unmarried farmer of the Orum vicinity, who was found dead on his farm last Wednesday.
The Rev. Harold C. Jorgensen, pastor of First Lutheran Church, conducted the services, and burial was in Orum cemetery.
Soren Johannes Poulson, son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Chris L. Poulson, was born two miles west of Orum March 1, 1888, and had spent his entire life in the same neighborhood. He was baptized and confirmed at St. Paul's Lutheran Church, Orum.
Surviving him are two brothers, Martin Poulson of Orum and Carol Poulson of Council Bluffs, and one sister, Mrs. John W. Fick, Blair; also several nephews and nieces.
