Mrs. Eveline Fletcher Passes Away at Advanced Age of 83 Years.
Eveline Fletcher, aged 83, a pioneer of the Northwest, died at 10 o'clock last night at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Alex McAllister, 316 Pine Street. Mrs. [Fletcher] was born in Indiana, January 30, 1829, and came to the Northwest in the company with her [children and first husband] in 1853, the family making the trip by ox team. She leaves a son, L. P. Schuh of Moscow, and Mrs. McAllister. She also leaves two sisters and a brother; Mrs. Tamsel Hall of Dayton, Iowa; Mrs. Kate Deatherage of Denver and Sidney Koons of Henderson, Illinois.
The funeral will be at 2 o'clock tomorrow afternoon at the residence, Rev. G. O. Kimball officiating. Burial will be in Mountain View Cemetery.
