Minnie Victoria Myers, daughter of Marion Leonidis "Lee" Myers and Athea Renia "Rena" Gentry Myers, married Cletus Divine Buckner, October 5, 1902.

Cletus was appointed Postmaster for a new Post Office at Ivy Hill, N. C., they called the Post Office, Cletus, operated from Octpber 1, 1898 until April 30, 1914. Mary D. Buckner became postmaster after Cletus married and moved to Asheville in 1904.

Minnie Victoria Myers was a sister to Violet Estelle "Essie" Myers. Essie married Squire Jefferson "Jeff" Emory.
