Frank A Hemphill, was born 13 January 1870 in Belle Center, Logan County, Ohio and is the last of eleven children born to Matthew Abial Hemphill and Nancy Maria Kirkland Hemphill. He was married twice, the first wife is unknown at this date, and his second marriage was to Anna Elizabeth Rhodes (second marriage for both Frank and Anna) in about 1909 (ref. 1910 census). His death certificate indicates he lived in Arizona for 35 years, the last 24 in Dewey, Arizona. He was cremated at Greenwood Crematory in Phoenix, Arizona.
