Mr. Curtis Withfield Wells, 55, went to be with his Lord on November 4, 1960 at Memorial Hospital in Danville, VA. He was a well known farmer in Callands, VA.

He was a long time member of the Christian Tabernacle Church in Callands and was active in Church affairs.

He is survived by wife Virginia Alice Herndon Wells and son Joseph Edward Wells of the home. He is also survived by three brothers; S. Thomas Wells of Danville, VA, Leslie S Wells of Martinsville, VA and Herman Wells of Richmond, VA and five sisters; Mrs Ike Mills of Danville, Mrs C F Holland of Dry Fork, VA, Mrs Willie Parrish of Chatham, VA, Mrs Willie Turner and Mrs D T Stanford both of Martinsville, VA.

Funeral services were conducted by Reverends Dennis Reynolds, W E Collins and Spencer Holland at the Christain Tabernacle Church. Pallbearers were Billy Jefferson, Kermit Parrish, Gene Wells, Tommy Stanford, Robert Wells, Ryland Wells, J T Holland, Kenneth Holland and Clarence Holland.

Burial was in the Church cemetery.
