Mrs. Nancy Ellen McLemore died at 11:25 o'clock Wednesday night at the family residence, 1347 West Railroad avenue. She would have been seventy-four years old in August. Her death was due to complications incident to old age.
Mrs. McLemore was born in Shelby county, Ky. For many years she resided in Washington county, Ind. coming to Illinois about eighteen years ago. She had lived in Decatur the past three years. She is survived by her husband and the following children: A.J. McLemore, Howard McLemore, Elmer F. McLemore and Leonard McLemore of Decatur and Mrs. Elizabeth Barnett of Niantic. She also leaves a sister and brother, Mrs. Susan M. Strange and David Hissner of Salem, Ind. There are nine grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
