Death of Mrs. W. C. Tunstall
Mrs. George W. Graham was summoned to Greensboro, Ala., Monday night by a telegram announcing the serious illness of her mother, Mrs. W. C. Tunstall. She left at once and was due to arrive last night. Yesterday afternoon at 4 o'clock Dr. Graham received a message stating that Mrs. Tunstall had just passed away. Mrs. Tunstall was about 70 years of age and had been in feeble health for some time. No details were given as to the funeral.

GREENSBORO, ALA., Sept. 17. -- Mrs. Augusta Hobson Tunstall, wife of Col. Wiley C. Tunstall, died at her home in Greensboro this afternoon at 4 o'clock, after an illness of several weeks. Mrs. Tunstall was a member of a family distinguished in the South, being a daughter of Col. Mathew Hobson. She was married to Colonel Tunstall fifty years ago, and their golden wedding would have been celebrated in a few months. She was a sister of Col. Edward L. Hobson, a distinguished officer in the Confederate Army, of W. W. Hobson, Mrs. W. D. Lee, Mrs. Parker, all deceased, and Mrs. Johns of Birmingham. Besides her husband, she leaves five children, Col. Alfred M. Tunstall of Greensboro, Hon. Wiley C. Tunstall, Jr., of Anniston, Mrs. George A. Searcy of Tuscaloosa, Mrs. Richard H. Cobbs, Jr., of Anniston, and Mrs. W. A. Graham of Charlotte, N.C., and many grandchildren and other relatives. Mrs. Tunstall was a life-long resident of Greensboro, and was universally beloved. She was a member of the Episcopal Church, from which church the funeral services will be held tomorrow.
