Richard PAULSON, age 75, died at the Steamboat hospital Tuesday night following an attack of pneumonia. He had been in Steamboat for several weeks, staying at the Lincoln hotel and for the past few days at the Sheridan. He will be buried in the Steamboat cemetery.
Richard PAULSON was one of the pioneer miners of the Columbine section and had lived there for the past 42 years. During that time he had been running a tunnel in Hahns Peak with the hope of some day striking it rich. His last visit to Steamboat was the first in 12 years. He has no known relatives.
